About Laura Heywood
Laura Heywood (she/her) is a dance and movement practitioner with over 10 years of experience in performing and teaching. A graduate of Trinity Laban, Laura worked as a performer on several projects, taking her around the world to India and South Africa, working with multiple companies and communities and has developed her teaching practices from her experiences.
Laura works as an inclusive dance artist teaching in a variety of settings including primary, secondary, SEND schools, community centres and specialist dance centres including The Place and The Royal Academy of Dance’s headquarters Laura wants to bring the joy of dance to as many people as possible regardless of their gender, abilities and socioeconomic background. She works with a philosophical and emotive approach to technique and creative practices and guides participants through each session with focus, energy and joy.

Laura is a qualified Mat Pilates Teacher and is working towards her pre and post-natal qualification.
Laura creates, inspires and is dedicated to accessing movement for all whilst making it fun.
